Pediatric Floor Nurse in en_US This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for pediatric patients within the organization. The role requires delivering high-quality pediatric nursing services, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to meet the physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs of young patients.

Job Details

  • Position Description: This role involves assessing patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. It includes reviewing patient history, physical assessments, diagnostics, and laboratory data, and reporting abnormal results. The nurse formulates and revises individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, considering patient-specific needs and discharge planning.
  • Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification; 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months; experience in pediatric nursing preferred.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The nurse provides direct patient care, delegates and supervises care activities, documents in patient records, and participates in quality improvement and professional development activities. In some roles, supervision of staff and workflow may be required.
