Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse - MS REHAB Wausau, WI. This position involves providing specialized inpatient rehabilitation care within a 12-bed unit, focusing on patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, or cardiac events. The role requires adaptability to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

• Certifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN), American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Certificate, with a preferred Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital experience, specifically in Medical Surgical (MS) or Rehabilitation (Rehab) units.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau facility.
• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 am 6:30 pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation, guaranteeing 48 hours per week.
• Required Skillset: Rehab knowledge, with experience in primary cases such as stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, or cardiac.
• Additional Information: Experience with Epic charting system preferred; ability to work in inpatient hospital settings required. Floating to all inpatient units as needed; flexible to a rotating schedule.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide evidence of relevant certifications and experience.
