Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse Location: unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and their newborns. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing clinical expertise and positive communication skills.
Job Details
- Certifications: California RN license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NRP, and a minimum of two years experience as a Labor and Delivery registered nurse.
- Education Requirements: Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience preferred in the specialty area.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must have recent Epic Experience (minimum of six to twelve months), travel experience, and recent Epic Ecperience required. Preferred qualifications include Baby Friendly experience, preceptorship, charge nurse responsibilities, and familiarity with patient/family teaching and care plan implementation.
