Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialist is based in Indianapolis, IN. This position involves providing advanced cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical support in a high-volume cardiovascular operating room center. The role requires participation in complex open-heart procedures, including heart transplants and transplant center duties, with on-call responsibilities during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details

• Position Description: CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) RN with 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume CVOR center performing complex open-heart cases. Supports adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures in a CVOR unit with 9 OR suites, including 2 hybrid rooms. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Burn Center, and VAD/Transplant Center, performing procedures such as Heart Transplant, Heartmate III, Impella, and ECMO. Features a Da Vinci Robot for Thoracic Surgeries.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, valid drivers license or state ID, 2-3 years of relevant experience in high-volume CVOR settings, and professional profile verification.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays.
