Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse Nights Location: The position involves providing specialized patient care on a 6 east PCU, covering a variety of inpatient and boarding units. The role requires experience with titrating pressors, and flexibility to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other units as needed.
Job Details
- Position Description: 6 east PCU, covering inpatient and boarding units, with a focus on titrating pressors; epic experience required; night shift schedule.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: BLS Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required; ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association) and NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale preferred; 0 years minimum experience; must be able to titrate pressors; must have Epic experience; must be separated from the employing health care organization for a minimum of 6 months to be considered.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Job-Related Information: The position involves initial pass/fail testing, and Relias practice tests will be available. Floating in 4-hour blocks may occur in rare cases. Early start dates are available with weekly start dates beginning 09/28/2026.
