Job Summary
IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) Registered Nurse Days, Full-Time, Contract. This position involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as executing delegated medical functions and promoting patient well-being within the healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Specialty: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited nursing school, current RN license in the practicing state or a compact license, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, ACLS (American Heart Association) certification, NIHSS certification, 1+ years of experience, having worked with stroke patients
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing, TNCC certification
• Responsibilities include performing health data assessments, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, executing medical functions, patient referrals, monitoring treatment plans, documentation, and resource utilization
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts
