Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) Nursing opportunity in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing safe, competent, and quality patient care within a specialized ICU environment, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and promoting patient safety and experience.
Job Details
- Position: Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) Nurse
- Shift Time: Days
- Shift Hours: 11.5 hours
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 34.5 hours
- Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License; BLS; ACLS; 2 years of ICU Med Surg experience; Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem); EPIC experience highly preferred; Excellent organizational skills; Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing preferred, or associate degree in nursing with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
- Schedule: Day shift from 7am to 7:30pm, every other week.
- Additional Information: The nurse will deliver patient care based on nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practice, within a Relationship Centered Care model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, resource management, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. The role requires expertise in clinical skills pertinent to ICU patients and supporting a high standard of safety, quality, and patient experience.
