• Position Description: Responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of all surgical patients. Candidates must have recent experience in an acute OR setting, with specific experience in ortho, spine, and joint replacement surgeries. Must be scrub and circulator capable, with the ability to handle multiple service lines, including knee and hip replacements.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS and BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting, ortho, spine, and joint replacement experience, and candidates must be able to scrub and circulate.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS, CNOR, charge nurse experience.
• Additional Information: Must be able to work rotating weekends, attend 4 on-call shifts within a 4-week period including weeknights, weekends, and some holidays. The unit has a 29-bed capacity with a diverse team, and procedures performed include joint replacements, ENT, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery. The unit values dedicated, reliable, and patient-focused personnel with excellent bedside manner.
