Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor RN Madison, Wisconsin. This inpatient rehabilitation nursing role involves providing high-acuity care to adults requiring specialized inpatient rehabilitative services. The position requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and maximize functional outcomes, primarily working night shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: Inpatient Rehabilitation RN with a minimum of 13 weeks Epic experience and at least 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environments.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or comparable inpatient care setting, and Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience.
- Additional Information: The inpatient rehab unit functions similarly to a medical-surgical care environment with high patient acuity. Nurses are expected to assist with clinical duties, support patient safety, and float to satellite facilities if required in the future. Orientation is scheduled starting January 6, 2026, with multiple additional orientation dates available for new staff.
