The Denver, Colorado-based Pediatric Congenital Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN specializes in critical care for pediatric cardiac patients. This role involves delivering advanced nursing care in a specialized setting dedicated to post-operative and complex congenital heart disease management, supporting a team of experienced healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Congenital Cardiovascular ICU
• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Shift Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Critical Care experience, certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS, with experience in post-op care including inotropic and vasopressor infusions, chest tube management, and open chest care
• Preferred Qualifications: Peritoneal dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and ECMO bedside experience
• Additional Information: The unit has 10 beds with a high-performing team experienced in cardiac and pediatric critical care, utilizing advanced equipment such as centrimag, prismax, and arctic sun. The team is led by board-certified pediatric/congenital heart intensivists committed to evidence-based practice, quality metrics, and patient-centered care. The unit serves complex neonatal and cardiac patients and emphasizes a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional growth.
