Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in the MS (Medical Surgical) specialty provides patient care in an acute care setting. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing services for patients with various diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, and pneumonia, among others, within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

Position Description: 50 mile radius rule ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE. LICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. Bed assignment: 30 beds, with patient ratios of 1:6/7; RN must be comfortable with this ratio.
Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS.
Education Requirements: Not specified.
License Requirements: Not specified.
Location Requirements: Not specified.
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant setting.
Schedule: 12-hour days, 36 hours per week. Shifts transition to Qgenda, weekends as scheduled, usually half the weekends.
Additional Information: The unit has a charge nurse with a team of PCTs. No vent or intermittent BIPAP required. Telemetry monitored remotely by techs. Floating may be required based on census, with external travelers first to float. No standby or call requirement. Charting system: EPIC.
Submission Requirements: Candidate must submit a copy of their unexpired drivers license.
