Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse (OR) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within the surgical setting, focusing on orthopedic and eye surgery. The role requires clinical expertise in the operating room environment to ensure patient safety and support surgical teams during procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required
• Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operating room setting, with strong skills in ortho and eye service lines; scrub experience highly preferred, but strong circulating skills accepted; recent Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory
• Location Requirements: No specific location limitations noted
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work spans Monday through Sunday with no block schedules.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible with schedule to meet unit and patient care demands, including working 2 out of four holidays, call requirements twice weekly, and on every 3-5 weekends as needed. Reliable transportation is necessary, equipped for winter months. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and complete work history details are required.
