Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse - Location: Unknown. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility to float to pediatric units based on census and patient needs, with responsibilities centered on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Details
- Certifications: 2 years of related experience preferred, with applicable pediatric nursing certifications.
- Education Requirements: Relevant nursing degree (e.g., RN license).
- Location Requirements: Must have current licensure to practice in the designated location.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 0 years required.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current basic life support (BLS) certification, and relevant pediatric care experience.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with specialized equipment such as Plum 360 IV pumps, Medfusion 4000 syringe IV pumps, Coviden Kangaroo feeding pumps, Sapphire IV pumps, and other advanced medical devices. The position may require float capability to pediatric units based on census.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to demonstrate compliance with all licensing and certification standards, and provide proof of required credentials prior to start.
