Job Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Step Down Unit
• Location: South St. Louis County, MO
• Schedule: Days shift, 0700-1930, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license eligible in Missouri or licensed in Missouri; BLS and ACLS from AHA; at least 2 years of experience in a step-down or ICU setting; experience with post-op care, Bipap, and cardiac gtt; physical ability to meet unit demands
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma and high acuity patients, positive attitude, problem solver, team player
• Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating patient services with ancillary departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and adhering to organizational standards and values.
• Physical demands involve standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and exposure to blood and body fluids.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
