Labor and Delivery Nurse needed in a healthcare facility within the Labor and Delivery Department. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, ranging from infants to the elderly, in a fast-paced, acute care setting. This position requires leadership responsibilities and the ability to manage departmental operations effectively.
Job Details
- Position: Director of Women's Care in the Labor and Delivery Department
- Location: Not specified; within a 100-mile radius rule
- Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some irregular hours possible
- Required Qualifications: RN license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 5 years of RN experience with 2 years of management or leadership experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS, TNCC are preferred
- Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing nursing and patient care operations, ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards across all age groups, and maintaining performance improvement initiatives.
- Licensing: Must disclose licensure hits at time of submission and include a valid, unexpired drivers license with the application.
- Charting System: EPIC
