Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a Women's Center (L&D) leadership role requiring a BSN and 5 years of RN experience with 2 years in management.
Details
- Acute care setting within a Women's Center (Labor & Delivery) unit
- Director-level leadership role overseeing Women's Care operations
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Primarily works Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Department operates 24/7, requiring occasional evening or weekend availability for calls
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Active WV or compact RN license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- 5 years of RN experience with 2 years of management/leadership experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications preferred
- Must provide a copy of unexpired driver's license for consideration
- Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing overall operations of nursing and patient care areas
- Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards across all patient age groups from infant to geriatric
- Maintains performance improvement activities and participates in CQI initiatives
- Assures competency of nursing personnel
- Assists with budget formulation and maintains efficient departmental operations
- Ensures compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local regulations and standards
- Must reside within a 100-mile radius of the facility
