Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care on a 30-bed unit specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry services. The nurse will be responsible for interpreting telemetry strips and caring for patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses.

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing; ability to read and interpret telemetry strips; pass dysrhythmia exam on hire (must score at least 80% in two attempts).
• Experience: Preferred candidates will have experience with telemetry and managing patients with diagnoses including MRSA, C-diff, pneumonia, COVID, and others.
• Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, interpret telemetry readings, participate in patient education, and potentially precept nursing students.
• Additional Information: The position involves rotation into other units such as Pediatric and Multi Care Units, with float requirements. The nurse must attend hospital and unit orientation, and follow dress code guidelines.
• Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend and rotational holiday coverage.
• Submission Requirements: Valid license to submit application, and must attend orientation sessions.
• Experience requirement: 0 years minimum (candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience).
