Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse, Nights This position is based in a busy acute care facility with a focus on cardiac medical and surgical patients. The role involves managing post-procedural patients, including post cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, and arrhythmias, with responsibilities such as titrating drips and monitoring EKG strips.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association) Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in a hospital environment, with experience in post procedural cath lab patients, management of TR band compression devices, chest pain, and post cardiac surgical patients.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include management of titratable and set rate drips such as Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Bumex, Dobutamine; RN's are required to read their own telemetry strips and manage patient monitoring.
• Additional position details include unit-specific orientation, no scrubs provided, and no self-scheduling with block scheduling typically used.
• Floating may be required based on unit census.
