Job Summary
Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) nurse in the healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. The position requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients.

Job Details

  • Position Description: This role is responsible for delivering nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, developmental, and cultural needs. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history and diagnostics, formulating and implementing care plans, delegating tasks, and documenting care accurately. The nurse promotes patient safety, participates in research activities, and may supervise staff and work flow within the department.
  • Required Qualifications: Current valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and at least 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months. Experience in emergency pediatric nursing preferred.
  • Schedule: Shift time is days, with a 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The role involves providing direct patient care, collaborating with team members, and maintaining clinical competencies. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, with physical capacity to lift up to 75 pounds and use standard precautions due to exposure risks.
