Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse position in a busy hospital setting. This role involves providing care to high-acuity patients, including those with heart conditions, lung transplants, LVAD patients, and post-surgical patients, in a high-volume environment. Candidates must have experience in critical care and be flexible to float between units as needed.
Job Details
- Position Description: ICU RN needed for a busy, high-acuity unit with 8 to 13 beds, caring for complex cardiovascular patients, including heart transplants, LVAD, and valve surgeries.
- Required Qualifications: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS; Education/Degree: RN license; Location: valid license in state; Experience: 2 years in critical care.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, scheduled based on unit needs, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be open to floating, flexible on scheduling, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The unit uses EPIC for charting, and RTs are assigned 24/7. Experience or training in CRRT is preferred but not mandatory.
