Emergency Room Pediatric Nurse, ER PEDS located in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for pediatric patients in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting. The position emphasizes collaborative care delivery and adherence to professional nursing standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: This position involves providing specialized nursing care for pediatric patients within the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, care implementation, and evaluation in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. The nurse will review diagnostic data, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to discharge planning and patient education.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice or valid compact license; BLS certification; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 75 pounds as needed, and communicate effectively. Clinical competencies must be maintained through annual validations. Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred.
