Job Summary
Operating Room Surgery Center (OR SURG CENTER) in the area is seeking qualified registered nurses to join a fast-paced surgical unit. This position involves assisting with pre- and post-operative patient care, including various procedures such as endoscopies, general surgeries, GI, ortho, urology, spine, gyn, breast oncology/reconstruction, podiatry, cardioversions, heart caths, IR procedures, and bronchoscopies. The role requires a dedicated professional to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Surgery Center
• Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a schedule of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, current ACLS certification, minimum 1 year of nursing experience, no specific education degree required.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Additional Information: Call is required, with approximately 2-4 call shifts every 4 weeks; on-call hours are from 0700 to 0700 during weekends. The unit has 18 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:4, and is staffed with 9 full-time registered nurses. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills, work well under pressure, and be flexible with scheduling. Flexibility with schedule is required in this role.
