Job Summary
PACU Ambulatory Unit Nurse Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit Location unspecified. This position involves the assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care for patients in a post-anesthesia recovery setting. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring safety, rapid assessment, and effective recovery procedures.

  • Shift Time: Days
  • Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, BLS certification. Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired. Clinical practice competencies to be maintained through annual validations.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Professional certification in specialty preferred.
  • Additional Information: This position assesses patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, reviews patient histories and diagnostics, formulates and revises care plans, and documents all aspects of patient care. The RN provides direct patient care, delegates appropriately, evaluates responses, and promotes continuous improvement in patient outcomes. The role involves interaction with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
