Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a specialized unit, ensuring adherence to nursing care plans, and supervising healthcare team members. The RN will contribute to patient safety and support the organizations commitment to delivering superior healthcare services.

Job Details

• Position Description: The RN maintains the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. Responsibilities include assessing patients within 8 hours of admission, participating in rehabilitation programs, and initiating discharge planning.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two years bedside clinical experience; ICU experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments, documents patient status promptly and accurately, and participates in team activities to create a positive work environment. Provides direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, and assumes charge responsibility following orientation as requested. Identifies opportunities for professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
