Job Summary
This is a Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Thornton, Colorado. The role involves providing patient care on a newly established, state-of-the-art unit with a diverse patient population. The RN will be responsible for post-operative recovery, cardiac monitoring, and managing various clinical procedures in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a flexible,self-scheduling process with an emphasis on teamwork and excellent patient care.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with cardiac experience, prior Meditech experience, and NIH (National Institutes of Health) certifications will be prioritized
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit features private rooms with ADA/bariatric accommodations, advanced monitoring equipment such as telemonitoring and post-op monitoring, and offers a variety of procedures including post-op recovery, orthopedic post-op patients, cath lab procedures, stroke care, and cardiac drips management. The unit fosters a friendly, outgoing environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration, with schedules planned three weeks in advance to facilitate trade adjustments.
