Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Registered Nurse positions are available in a healthcare facility located in Overland Park, Kansas. These roles involve providing specialized care for patients undergoing open heart procedures, requiring advanced cardiovascular and critical care skills. The positions are scheduled for night shifts with a guaranteed 48 hours per week, starting September 28, 2026.

Job Details

Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 09/28/2026
End Date: 12/28/2026
Required Qualifications: Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; 2 years of ICU experience in a cardiovascular setting; experience with telemetry, pressors, positive inotropes, pacemakers, chest tubes, and cath/EP lab recovery; additional skills such as open heart procedures, ECMO cannulation, and pericardial drains preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience for night shift is desirable
Additional Information: Experience working with advanced cardiovascular equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, GE bedside monitors, IABP, and Impella; familiarity with Meditech documentation system; unit emphasizes high-quality patient care and patient experience scores; staff are experienced with open heart procedures, ECMO, and post-operative care
