Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse (MS REHAB) Nights Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, amputation, neurological conditions, trauma, or orthopedic injuries. The role supports ongoing therapy and recovery programs in a state-of-the-art 40-bed rehabilitation hospital, emphasizing maximization of patient health, function, and quality of life.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Providing therapy services and specialized treatment for individuals experiencing loss of function due to injury or illness, tailored to each patient's recovery needs.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: RN licensure required; BLS certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical-surgical rehabilitation or similar settings.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: RN licensure, 3 years of experience, within Wisconsin, and a high school diploma.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rehabilitation, medical-surgical, or skilled nursing settings; excellent customer service skills.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working with a patient population comprising adults requiring intensive therapy, with a focus on stroke, amputations, and medical-surgical conditions. The position includes every other weekend rotation and requires reporting at 8 am. The candidate should ask for Deanna Fish or Natasha Gappa upon arrival and park in the employee parking lot.
