Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Sylva, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within a busy OR setting at an acute care facility. The position requires a focus on patient safety, surgical support, and adherence to clinical standards.

Job Details

• Certifications: Current nursing licensure and certifications as required, with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Education Requirements: Must have a valid nursing degree and appropriate state licensure.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the healthcare facility.
• Years of Experience: 1 year + one travel assignment.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with minimum weekly hours of 36.
• Responsibilities include assisting with C-Sections, Orthopedic surgeries, General surgery, Urology, Gynecology, ENT (pediatric and adult), Pain management, and Dental procedures (pediatric).
• Equipment used includes Hana table, trauma table, enseal, myosure, novasure, kabtec, and neoprobe.
• Additional notes: Scrubs are provided, and the role involves working with a variety of surgical cases in a family-oriented hospital environment.
