Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse in Tallahassee, Florida. This position involves providing care to oncology patients within a specialized cancer unit at a teaching healthcare facility. The role requires adherence to unit protocols, team collaboration, and experience in phlebotomy.

Job Details

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Florida Registered Nurse license or compact licensure; BLS certification; at least 2 years of clinical experience; prior travel experience (minimum 1 assignment); phlebotomy experience required; EPIC training during orientation is required, with testing opportunities to bypass full training.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include floating to all units within the med surg division, adhering to clinical standards, and supporting patient care needs.
Submission requirements: Interested candidates must be qualified per the outlined requirements and able to start on 10/05/2026.
Additional Information: This role involves working in a Trauma Level 2, Teaching healthcare facility with 772 beds, providing care in a designated Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6.
