Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Austin This position involves providing high-quality emergency care within a busy ER department. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver urgent and critical services to patients in need of immediate medical attention.

Job Details

Location: Austin, Texas
Position Description: CONTRACT - Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); no minimum years of experience required; location requirements: must be willing to work in Austin.
Additional Information: This role requires candidates with ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications; candidates without these skills will not be considered. The unit is dedicated to providing acute trauma and emergency care to a diverse patient population, with an emphasis on teamwork, multitasking, and professionalism. The environment features advanced equipment including Alaris pumps and Belmont Rapid infusers, with the MEDITECH electronic medical record system. The department fosters a dynamic team culture, and candidates should be adaptable and ready for a fast-paced setting.
