Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a busy, fast-paced Level II trauma center that features advanced technology and specialized services. The nurse will support the high-risk obstetrics unit, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery
- Location: Reno, Nevada
- Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: NV State Registered Nurse license; 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery high-risk hospital setting; certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); prior travel experience preferred.
- Schedule: Shift varies based on department needs; includes weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to other maternal units, postpartum, and NICU up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts during the schedule period. Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract.
