Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) RN in a critical access healthcare facility. This role involves floating between units at multiple hospitals, providing expert patient care for adult and geriatric populations. The position offers a progressive opportunity to work within a dynamic environment in a dedicated team setting.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Education Requirements: Valid State License; compact license accepted
- Years of Experience: 1 year of recent experience required
- Location Requirements: Candidate must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Chest tubes, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Feeding tube care and management, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, PCA, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Post MI, Seizure disorders, Starting and maintaining IVs, Substance Withdrawal, Total joint replacement, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Ortho patient care/pin care
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing clinical care to surgical patients, managing complex airway and vascular access devices, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Candidates must be able to float between Providence St. Josephs and Providence Mt. Carmel hospitals.
- Submission requires two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
- RTO (Request for Time Off) requests are limited to specific holidays and must be made upfront.
