Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position available in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care to individuals recovering from anesthesia, with potential responsibilities including airway assessment, pain management, and monitoring vital signs. The shift schedule is day shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of recent PACU or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience, current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and experience with charting systems such as Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, experience with ventilator management, pain management, and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Float: Helping hands; float to other units may be required based on patient care needs and skill set.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The assignment requires a vehicle for commuting, and the facility follows specific holiday scheduling commitments, including working three of five major holidays. Candidates must respond to pre-schedule screening questions regarding past employment at a Providence facility and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
