Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse Tallahassee, FL. This position involves providing high-quality care on a designated Medical Surgical Unit within a teaching hospital. The role supports a busy trauma/ortho unit and requires a compassionate, experienced healthcare professional to deliver patient-centered care.

Job Details

Shift Time: Days
Shift Hours: 12 hours
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
Required Qualifications: FL or Compact license, BLS, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical surgical nursing, prior travel experience, experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center, and at least one previous assignment.
Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Additional Information: This unit is a designated comprehensive stroke center and chest pain center, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6. EPIC training is required during orientation, with testing out options available. Candidates must meet the experience and licensure requirements to be considered.
