Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in the Specialty of ORT for the organizations healthcare facility. This position involves providing surgical assistance and ensuring optimal operating room operations. The role requires a certified professional with experience in surgical procedures, charting, and utilizing electronic systems.
Job Details
- Certifications: Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or NCCT, BLS certification required.
- Education Requirements: High school diploma required; completion of a surgical technology program.
- Location Requirements: None specified.
- Years of Experience: 2 years required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional information: Proficiency in Epic charting system and surgical procedures including abdominal hysterectomy, arthroscopy, colonoscopy, laparoscopic assisted cases, and others. Strict adherence to aseptic technique and equipment documentation practices.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide applicable certifications with valid expiration dates and documentation of work history for the past 7 years. References obtained within the last year are required.
