Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU AMBULATORY) RN position in an outpatient setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care of patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safe and effective post-procedure recovery.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid RN license via reciprocity or compact license. BLS certification is required. Experience in acute care settings within the past 12 months is preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include evaluating patient responses post-anesthesia, coordinating care with multidisciplinary team members, and documenting patient assessments and treatment outcomes. The role may involve supervising licensed and non-licensed personnel and participating in quality improvement activities.
