Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse, Emergency Room Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing critical care in a busy emergency department with an average daily census of 60 patients. The role requires flexibility to float within scope across all community hospital emergency units and to ensure prompt, quality patient care under various emergency conditions.

Job Details

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Education and experience requirements: Minimum of 3 years of emergency room experience, with at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• The position involves managing patients presenting with ACSCVA/TIA, respiratory conditions, sepsis, trauma, neurological complaints, and other acute illnesses.
• Must obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, start and maintain IVs, and administer emergency medications.
• Additional responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, performing procedural sedation, and providing care for both pediatric and adult patients.
• May be required to float to all community hospital ER units and departments within scope to meet clinical needs.
• Submittals: Compliance documentation due 2 Fridays before start date, including modules and labs as specified. RNs may choose to complete EPIC test-out or modules, with initial modules due by 12 PM PST Friday prior to start.
