Job Summary
An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an intensive care setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times to promote patient and employee safety.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, promoting safety and quality in all aspects of patient care.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and a minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience.
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning from the day of admission. Provides patient education, communicates patient status changes, and supervises ancillary nursing personnel. Acts in charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development.
