Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in Portland, Maine. This role involves providing specialized vascular and plastic surgery patient care within a busy surgical environment. The candidate will support open and endovascular vascular cases as well as plastics procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to surgical protocols. Call responsibilities are required on a per-rotation basis.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with scheduled weekend rotations averaging 1:5 weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN, vascular and plastics surgery experience required, CNOR certification preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general, urology/gynaecology, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, or endovascular procedures.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role requires flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and strong team collaboration skills. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and support a diverse case mix, including trauma and specialty surgeries. The position is scheduled to commence on 10/12/2026 and end on 01/11/2027.
