Job Summary
Pediatric Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler in Colorado Springs, CO. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the pediatric surgical environment, supporting various pediatric specialties such as general, trauma, ENT, orthopedic, neuro, GI, eyes, dental, and urology. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting on a night shift schedule.

Job Details

  • Position Title: OR RN Traveler
  • Specialty: Operating Room Pediatrics Only
  • Location: Colorado Springs, CO
  • Shift: Nights, 8:45 PM 7:15 AM, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
  • Duration: 26 Weeks (from 10/06/26 to 04/10/27)
  • Certifications: ADN required, BSN highly preferred; BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS, PALS, CNOR certifications preferred
  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric OR experience required to circulate in pediatric specialties including general, trauma, ENT, orthopedic, neuro, GI, eyes, dental, and urology surgeries; previous travel experience highly preferred
  • Licensure: Valid nursing license in the state of Colorado or the ability to obtain one
  • Schedule: Nights, 8:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 40-hours per week
  • Additional Information: Must have epic experience; scrub experience highly preferred; must work up to three on-call shifts per month, including some weekends and weeknights; no RTO approved during the first two weeks; medical and religious exemptions allowed for seasonal influenza vaccination
