Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing comprehensive general medical care, including post-operative, bariatrics, and oncology patient management at a 352-bed healthcare facility. The role requires remote telemonitoring with oversight from a monitor technician, and may include float responsibilities to Medical Surgical Telemetry.
Job Details
- Position Description: Travel Med Surg RN starting as soon as possible for a 13-week assignment. Schedule: Nights, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., every other week and every other holiday with a minimum of 36 hours per week. May float to MS Tele, with a patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of 1:7 maximum.
- Required Qualifications: Current licenses for registered nursing, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 1-2+ years of Med Surg (Medical Surgical) experience, at least 1 year of recent travel nursing experience, Telemetry experience, Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system proficiency, and minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in medical surgical care.
- Additional Information: The role involves general medical administration, remote telemonitoring, patient care for post-operative, bariatrics, and oncology patients, with a patient ratio of 1:6.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours minimum per week.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to meet the above qualifications and be prepared to start on 10/05/2026, with the assignment concluding on 01/04/2027.
