Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in the healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring safety and compliance within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves evaluating patient data, formulating individualized care plansincluding discharge planningand providing direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing standards. The nurse will delegate tasks appropriately, supervise activities of the healthcare team, and collaborate with other providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or equivalent; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 0 years of experience required in an acute care setting; Knowledge of clinical standards, policies, and procedures; familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The nurse will participate in unit operations, contribute to quality improvement activities, and support the education and mentorship of new staff and students. The role may include supervision of staff and work flow management within the department.
