Description
Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse located in a community hospital setting. This role involves providing critical patient care in a Level II trauma ER with a high patient volume. The position requires adaptability to varied patient acuity and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality care to a diverse population.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California Emergency Room License, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. Minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma care and pediatric emergency care is strongly preferred.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required depending on patient care needs, but only within scope of skill.
- Additional Information: The ER handles approximately 45,000 patients annually, with a staff-to-patient ratio dependent on patient acuity and census, mandated by the state of California. The ER is equipped with Epic electronic medical record system, which is preferred. Staff may wear any color scrubs; detailed scrubs info will be provided on the first day. The organization will conduct interviews and extend offers accordingly.
