Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse opportunity available in a facility located in the San Juan River Valley region. This position involves providing high-quality care to adult patients within a busy medical-surgical unit, including telemetry monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, effective patient care within the specified shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association; minimum of 1 year of experience in med/surg with telemetry or similar setting; current licensure as a registered nurse; no specific location requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience preferred; oncology skills helpful but not required.
- Additional Information: Unit includes 43 beds with patient ratios of 1:5 and 1:6. Equipment includes VS machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps. Electronic health record system used is Cerner. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/21/2026 and end on 12/21/2026, with block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis.
