Job Summary
IMCU Nurse, Intermediate Care Unit, Lake Havasu City An immediate opening exists for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intermediate Care Unit at a community hospital and regional referral center. The role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients, including those with cardiac conditions like STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, and sepsis, within a Level Trauma 3 facility.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a community hospital, working 3x12-hour shifts on Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled to include holidays. Orientation is held weekly.
• Required Qualifications: Current State License, 2 years recent acute care experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units, and at least 1-year of travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patients, and familiarity with STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly.
• Additional Information: Must be able to report within 30 minutes when on call; no block schedule requests, with some flexibility for 48-hour shifts. Must work all holidays.
