Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) healthcare professionals are sought for a rotating shift position located in the designated healthcare setting. This role involves working twelve-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend days and nights. The position requires flexibility to float between ICU and Intermediate Care Units, with orientation provided weekly. Candidates must have specific experience with cardiothoracic surgery and device management.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, every other weekend (days/nights). Weekend rotation is required, including two holidays during winter holidays if working through them.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA. Must have more than two years of experience in a similar setting. Cardiothoracic surgery experience with familiarity with devices such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella is required. Candidate must be separated from the healthcare organization for at least six months to be considered.
- Additional Information: Must be able to float between intensive care and intermediate care units. Orientation is scheduled weekly. Any color scrubs are acceptable.
