Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing critical care for patients in the ICU environment, offering specialized medical attention and managing complex devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Impella. The role includes navigating a flexible schedule with night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday requirements, with weekly orientation sessions.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications; must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar ICU setting; must possess Cardiothoracic (CT) surgery experience and experience with devices like IABP and Impella.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records system EPIC; previous experience floating between ICU and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU).
- Additional Information: Candidates must have been separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible. Orientation is conducted weekly. Scrubs must be worn in any color.
