Description

Job Summary:
Telemetry Nursing in a hospital setting offers a vital role in providing safe, person-centered care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This position involves applying nursing knowledge, research, and evidence-based practices in a dynamic environment. The registered nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring positive patient experiences and safety.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, every other week, with a minimum commitment of 34.5 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Telemetry experience, Ventilator experience, minimum of 2 years RN experience, minimum of 1 year travel experience for travel positions, EPIC experience highly preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing is preferred; associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program.
  • Additional Information: The role includes performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supplies and staffing, facilitating patient throughput, documenting diligently according to regulatory standards, and contributing to quality improvement and safety initiatives. The position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to professional development, fostering a caring, ethical, and innovative approach to patient care.
