Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) for a healthcare organization in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire area. This position involves supporting surgical services within a busy perioperative unit. The role requires a versatile professional capable of working in a fast-paced environment across various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, and robotics procedures. The position offers a flexible schedule with variable shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (CST), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 0 years of experience, valid work authorization, and ability to work holidays.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgeries, familiarity with Da Vinci Robot and Mako Robot is advantageous.
• Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, support OR team members, adhere to hospital policies, follow SOPs, and maintain a sterile environment.
• Unit Information:
  • Location: Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Main OR
  • Floor: Main OR
  • Number of beds: 7 OR Suites
  • Types of staff: RN, CST, CST/FA, Orderlies
  • Typical procedures include orthopedics, general, ENT, gynecology, plastics, neuro, robotics, podiatry, and dental surgeries.
• Additional Information:
  • The position is full-time with nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
  • Scrub color is hospital-provided scrubs.
  • No floating areas required.
