Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift located at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a neuro-focused Intermediate Care Unit, with working hours on 12-hour night shifts. The position offers opportunities for orientation, charge responsibilities, and participation in holiday staffing assignments.

Job Details

Position Description: 12H Nights - 48-Hour Neuro IMCU B51. Orientation scheduled for every other week on Mondays. May require charge responsibilities with appropriate pay differential and training. Commitment to working at least one major holiday (Christmas Day and/or New Year's Day).
Required Qualifications: Active VA or Compact Nursing License, 2 years of relevant experience in IMCU or similar unit, skills checklist, and copy of Nursys/license.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week. Orientation dates are every other Monday.
Additional Information: Orientation sessions occur biweekly, and the unit typically follows a 2/3 weekends schedule but may vary based on staffing needs. The assignment duration is approximately four months, with up to 20-week-long assignments available during the holiday season. Limited RTO is permitted with IVS offer, and cancellations are possible up to 36 hours prior due to census changes. Experience in charge role is preferred, as well as familiarity with Cerner. This role involves working with a patient population that includes neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients.
